  • Re: Hatch patterns

Hmm... I would have thought the hatchpatterns_1033.txt file is the way to go. It looks quite time-intensive to figure out how a new pattern should be scripted, but it should work easily (looks just like the linetypes...?)

Is there a way to create new hatch patterns and/or to import hatch patterns? Thanks!

  • linetypes

I am trying to get the standard linetypes as in the WinVersion. And/or modify/create linetypes. Is this possible, if so how?  Thanks!

  • Re: Python Scripting in Mac Rhino

Applying the AnnotateCurveForm.py on a circle caused a few moments of spinning disc and then popped up a windows-like dialogue. • Re: Print

Marlin,  I understand that the drafting-style page layout option will take some time. In the meantime, it would help tremendously if only the print to scale option were available (i.e. printing in a correct scale directly from the regular views) The current workaround is only to export and then print from another application or fall back ...

  • zooming/panning

The zooming and panning automatically syncs all orthographic views, i.e. if I zoom selected in the Top view, my Right and Front views go with it.  More annoying is the panning though: when I pan on the Top, my Right/Front views pan respectively, almost never what I want/ need.  Bug or any workaround/switch?

  • right-clicking (control-clicking)

I am still experiencing very annoying workflow hindrances when clicking.  Mostly right-clicking on the layer-panel items to "move objects to selected layer" and the like. The current (hovered-over) layer is not the one that the objects get copied to, rather the still highlighted one.  This is just one example of ...
