  • Re: iRhino on iPad/iPhone

Can't wait to check it out. From what you've said, it seems like it would be useful to have a notes/annotations feature  as well as being able to turn on and off layers.

  • update to Rhino 5 core

Just wondering if Marlin can give an update on the time frame to integrate the Rhino 5 base code into Rhino OS X?

  • Re: V-Ray alternatives

For excellent OS X rendering, I'd checkout either Maxwell or Bunkspeed. I use Maxwell. Since there's currently no plugin for the mac version of Rhino, I fire up parallels and spend less than 5 minutes in Rhino for Windows using the Maxwell plugin to output a rhino file into a Maxwell render scene. It assumes Rhino 4 for windows, but it seems useful... http://2e5.com/kite/parametric/ However, a more basic question: How do you even start to use Python scripting? Just paste it in line by line in the command ...

  • Re: History bug Build 11-09-09

OK. I see what the issue is. Apologies. In general, I was basically wrong. They do act the same. However, since  the Windows' version lets you right click on the status bar "Record History" to get a pop-up menu that lets you turn on/off a few options. One of them is "Always Record History", which I had turned ...

That's not how it works in Rhino for Windows... At some point things will be more clear where/how Rhino OS X will be differ from Rhino for Windows. But for now, I'll file the differences as "bugs"
