Hi JM,
Try the Rhino 4View command - twice in a row.
This will recreate all the standard viewports and reset the construction planes to the defaults.
See if it makes a difference.
If nothing works, you can email the model to me and I will take a look at it.
Sincerely,
Mary Fugier

Hi Randy.
Here are few items to keep in mind.
Booleans commands are very complex commands that take the intersection of two or more objects, determine what portion of the object to trim and then join the surfaces all back to together again. When you boolean a group of objects, if even one of them fails, the entire boolean will be aborted. So if ...

Hi Loboy,
dimensions of a simple object quickly without looking at the grid or using the dimensioning tool?
Yes, what you are looking for is not even in Rhino 4 for Windows.
This is something that I have seen used in AutoCAD. They call it dynamic display.
You highlight objects and turn on ...

Hi Mikolaj,
I agree that the location and size of the command history window should be remembered by Rhino.
It does not keep this now, so I will report this as a bug.
I would like the CommandHistory to be a command that I can alias it to something like "CH" .
Then I can bring it up very quickly, but typing ...

Hi Mikolaj,
There are no plans to make the command line at the lower left configurable so it could show 2 or more lines.
There are a few commands that produce more than one line of output. It may be possible and more likely the Rhino OS X will temporarily show the extra output from commands like Distance or Boolean ...

You are exactly right on this. The 3dm format is the same under OSX or Windows.
Please send us any files that don't work as expected.
1. It would be nice if one could double click the viewports (such as in windows version) in order to maximize/minimize the desired viewport. I use this feature a lot.
See the article What Works, and What Doesn't
Maximize/Restore by double-clicking on the viewport title ...

This is a common issue when using boolean commands on objects that are not closed solids. Solids are closed and the direction of the normal is pointing out so the results of the boolean are predictable. The normal direction on open polysurfaces or surfaces will vary so the result of a boolean can seem unpredictable. ...

When you try to use a command that is not implemented, the area under the command line will echo "unknown command". When you right click  on the perspective window title/ and pick set camera/ place target, the -ViewportProperties command returns this "unknown command" message.
Until this command gets added,  you ...

I am not sure what Marlin has ultimately planned for this. However in Windows Rhino, the command line is a window that can be floated, docked, resized. It can go at the top or bottom or float off the Rhino application window. I prefer it docked at the top just under the Standard toolbar.
I will put this on the list for Marlin to ...
